Regents Park Community College is a large and successful mixed sex secondary school situated in the city of Southampton, close to the popular and sought after suburb of Shirley and only a short drive away from the New Forest.
Their intention for the new website was that it would be informative as well as easy to explore, useful, and entertaining. They want to use the Virtual Schools platform to improve communication between the school and all members of the community, especially with parents, friends of the school and with other schools in their area.
Additionally they want to be able to use the site to improve teaching and learning within the school and, more importantly, to extend teaching and learning beyond the school and into the home, indeed to anywhere there is an internet link.
Following the redesign of their school logo and prospectus we created an empathetic and fresh design which reflects their new identity.The dynamic visual elements of the site brought to life the design in a way no static print format ever could. Regents wanted a main news page but also for the news to appear in all of the major areas of the site. This gives every one of the main sections of the Regents Park website a new look and feel each and every time someone visits the page.
