Operation BISK-IT Project

Operation BISK-IT is a year 10 Business and Enterprise challenge which first was launched as part of National Enterprise week 2005. The project was devised jointly by Bellemoor School and Kings' School in partnership with PHILIPS, INTECH Science Centre, Solent Skill Quest and Virtual Schools.

The customer brief for Operation BISK-IT 2005-06 was "to design and manufacture/simulate a prototype product or service to enhance the quality of life for a physically disabled student of your age."

After months of hard work and commitment pupils from Bellemoor and Kings' School in Winchester came together at INTECH Science Centre to make their final presentations.

Each team had a presentation stand which included their project work, prototypes and storyboard. They also had to put together a PowerPoint Presentation which was presented to the judges, parents and teachers.

All six teams presented well and were complemented by all. There were two prizes awarded; one for the overall best product and one for the best presentation. The overall winners were 'Phondu' and the best presentation prize was awarded to 'Exops', both teams from Kings' School.

Congratulations to everyone who participated in and contributed fully towards the successful Operation BISK-IT Challenge.
