Frogmore Community College is an average-sized mixed comprehensive school for pupils aged 11-18. The school is situated in Yateley, Hampshire.
Frogmore have had a long and rewarding association with Virtual schools and following the schools investment in a new "look" they needed to bring the website into line.
It was an opportunity for Virtual Schools and Frogmore not just to import the new look but to also revise the website to reflect the schools new youthful focus.
Not only did Virtual Schools bring to life the new, but static, design, by clearly defining the objectives of the website they were able to appropriately restructure and thereby revitalize the sites' use.
Frogmore are distinctive in having both Specialist School status, they are a Technology College, and in having their own Sixth Form on the same campus.
Frogmore College for Advanced Studies, or FCAS as it is know, needed to be both part of the Frogmore main site and also to have a distinctive, and far higher profile than hitherto, identity of its own.
By subtly differentiating the core design and by adding idiosyncratic and characteristic elements the new identity is consistent, but FCAS has its own visual and energetic personality.
The new site is a superb platform for the school to use in the future ,one that will become integral to its educational successes and something the school can use to show its many triumphs to the world.
