Kings' School House is situated in Winchester and was purpose built in 1967 to provide boarding for 36 boys. Its pleasant, modern facilities house boarders from Kings' School Winchester and also a small number of sixth formers from Peter Symond's College.
The House operates as an extended family unit, providing a stable and sympathetic home for the pupils. The House is fully integrated within the school and seeks to provide pupils with the opportunity to increase their academic knowledge, social awareness and self-respect. The Houseparents encourage pupils to develop a proper sense of independence whilst recognising that they are part of a house community, with all the responsibilities this entails.
Kings' School House recently decided to have their homepage redesigned. They wanted to have a much more dynamic frontpage which would include the latest news items and many links.
The new design has introduced stronger colours and resembles the many news feeds used on Kings' School website, for example the Business and Enterprise section.
