The Discovery City Learning Centre is based at Noctorum, near Birkenhead, Wirral. They share the same site as Ridgeway High School, however, they are completely independent from the school with their own facilities and team of people.
The centre has extensive IT facilities which are available for use by pupils and teachers from primary and secondary schools on the Wirral, members of the community.
The Discovery City Learning Centre promotes the use of technology for learning by Wirral Schools. Their new website has been the home to over 40 students who took part in their summer 2007 school, the work produced by the students throughout the couple of weeks, photos and stories have all been published to secure areas of the website where the children can share each others work and communicate using password protected forums.
