The Secure Curriculum Extranet
The repository for Curriculum Resources that the teachers and school want to make available to their pupils whenever and wherever there is Internet access.
Every teacher can be given secure access rights to add content to this area and every pupil can be given secure access rights to view those resources, again using the Virtual Schools own easy to use Content Management Tool.
If the school already has a secure "Intranet", based on its own servers in school, then external access to those resources can be set up via the website.
The Virtual RuckSacks
A Personalised Learning Environment providing the ability to set, mark and submit assignments, projects, homeworks and to maintain an e portfolio of resources and achievements for lifelong reference.
